On behalf of the IFSR Executive Committee, warm congratulations go to Prof. Raul Espejo on his new role as President of the World Organisation of Systems and Cybernetics (WOSC).Our congratulations are also extended to Dr. Igor Perko of Maribor University, Slovenia, who will be the Director General.WOSC was founded in 1969 by Professor J. Rose, who was its President until 1987. Then, Professor Stafford Beer assumed leadership until his death in August 2002. This past January, the Board of Directors met in Rome to elect a new president following the death of Professor Robert Vallée on January 1st 2017. They proposed Professor Espejo as WOSC’s new President and he accepted, inviting Dr. Igor Perko to be Director General.The IFSR EC wishes these leaders well and looks forward to their continued work advancing the World Organisation of Systems and Cybernetics.
