Welcome the site of the International Federation for Systems Research! Our member organizations from around the world are all interested in the development and application of systems science, cybernetics, and related fields of study. On this site you will find information for, and about, our member organizations, including upcoming meetings and conferences. If you are a researcher, you will find links to libraries and archives devoted to the study of systems. Some of these are connected to the work of specific individuals (e.g. Ludwig von Bertalanffy, Heinz von Foerster, Gordon Pask, etc.) and others to broad areas of study (e.g. complexity.) Some links will take you to the conference proceedings of our member organizations, much of which is freely available.
If you are new to systems work you will find content from newsletters and proceedings from Conversation events dating back decades, including work by prominent theorists and practitioners in the midst of their developing ideas.
