Call for Papers for the European Journal of Operational Research (EJOR)
Michael Johnson and I are co-editing a special issue of European Journal of Operational Research (EJOR) on the subject of Community OR.
For those of you in academic institutions for whom journal prestige might matter, EJOR is ranked as 4 on the new International ABS journal ranking list (very few journals are ranked 4*, the highest category), and it is an A on the now-defunct ERA list (again, very few journals were A*). This essentially means that EJOR has a claim to be the leading OR journal outside Operations Research and Management Science, neither of which will publish papers on Community OR anyway. So for all intents and purposes, it is the best journal in our field.
Here’s the link to the call for papers:

I would like to encourage you to put in a submission please. Note that a 1-2 page synopsis is required by 30 October 2015, so the initial investment of time is not significant. People submitting the best synopses will be invited to write full papers, which will be subject to the usual refereeing process.
